I’ve posted another pancake recipe in the past but it doesn’t quite have the fluffy texture of Julia’s recipe. I believe this recipe is more enjoyable if you are willing to take a few extra moments to beat the egg whites.
Since meeting Julia my daily routine of breakfast cereal and milk, or yogourt if I’m feeling fancy, has been replaced by bread with butter and jam as well as multiple yogourt types. I enjoy it equally and it ties me over until lunch better than cereal did but sometimes it just takes a little too long to pull everything out of the fridge and cupboard. Sometimes I want 10 second prep and 10 second clean up.
